Anabezi is situated deep within the Lower Zambezi National Park, which forms part of the Lower Zambezi– Mana Pools Trans Frontier Conservation area, spanning 1,750,000-hectares of wilderness. The area is a big game mecca, an African Eden, and one of the world’s last remaining untouched natural landscapes. Exceptional game viewing is assured – the area is home to a host of prestigious wildlife including lion, leopard, hyena as well as an abundance of other indigenous species.

A family-owned and independently run camp that stretches under the shade of a Winterthorn grove,above the Zambezi floodplain. We offer access to the wild and expansive Lower Zambezi National Park, stretched out in a spectacular display of scenery from the doorstep of our luxury tented camps.
Our proximity to the Zambezi River and position within the National Park lends itself to unparalleled wildlife encounters. A game drive will reveal a kaleidoscope of African animals, flourishing in their natural environment. An evening expedition may reveal one of our resident leopards, while on a morning drive you will almost certainly bump into a herd of elephant and may see local pride of lions or endangered wild dogs on an early morning hunting foray. Slow afternoons casting the Zambezi River for the legendary tiger fish will captivate fishing enthusiasts, while a leisurely paddle in a canoe down one of the river channels will reveal distant hippo, waterbuck or a formidable gathering of buffalo.

The Camp

Designed for comfort and luxury in an authentic African setting, Anabezi offers twelve luxurious tented suites. These secluded spaces are havens of relaxation, each one equipped with an indoor bathroom, private deck and plunge pool. The rooms are connected to the main camp areas by raised wooden walkways, in consideration of the free-roaming wildlife with which we share the landscape.

Anabezi’s safari camp communal guest areas boast two spacious lounge and dining areas, raised above the bush on wooden decks to allow the resident game to roam naturally around the grounds. The living and dining areas stretch seamlessly towards an infinity pool that overlooks the magnificent Zambezi River, the Mushika riverbed and the wildlife that traverse its watery deltas.
