Completely surrounded by nature, with just a few small villages inhabited by the Goba tribe nearby, Kanyemba Lodge is an exclusive relaxing spot designed to board up to only fifteen people at a time.

Although respectful of local tradition and deeply immersed in the surrounding nature, this small lodge was planned following highly innovative techniques, with the use of natural materials and paying careful attention to the smallest details in order to provide the comfort and well-being characteristic of an angle of paradise.

The five bungalows and the romantic honeymoon suite forming the lodge, are discretely located on the river bank under the shadow of wild mangoes and huge trees. Built in lava stone, thatched roofed and each with a private veranda overlooking the river, the roomy and comfortable chalets are all fitted with en-suite bathroom, shower and hot current water, mosquito nets and ceiling fans.

The lodge provides daily laundry service on request, e-mail and satellite telephone and is constantly radio-connected with its office in Lusaka.

The central building enriched with a wonderful patio, lodges the dining room, the bar, a lounge and a library housing interesting books about nature and local traditions. In the heat of the day you can choose to relax in the pool, swimming or just sipping a cocktail while watching the lazy sleep of the hippo’s in the river.

Expert guides will be at your disposal to take you on daytime photographic safaris or night excursions to observe animals while feeding, drinking or hunting. All the activities will be supervised by qualified staff in order to guarantee top quality and safety.

To make this African experience more genuine and real, you may take the chance of sleeping in a bush camp situated near the park entrance. The tents, roomy and well equipped with all sorts of comforts, will revive the authentic atmosphere of the original safaris and the magic of the nights spent around the fire listening to the sounds of the animals populating the near bush.
