Orientation Safaris are a unique concept of Nyanja Safaris. Orientation Safaris accommodate the needs of Expats to Africa. We cater for Professional individuals with or without families.
Particularly suited to ‘New African’ Expat’s who are considering working in Africa. Africa is very different from the ‘Western World’ and our Orientation Safaris benefits not only the new Expat but also the company employing them in this new environment by providing them with the opportunity to ‘sample’ or ‘settle into’ their new life in Africa and make better informed decisions. This Safari is geared to show the client what a wonderful place Africa is to live and work in as well as pointing out the areas of African life that need careful consideration.
For example; For a couple or family from the UK starting a three year contract in say; The Copper Belt in the town of Ndola, Zambia. We could organize a ten day safari to Zambia which would include;
Arrive Lusaka and be met & guided by our personnel, transfer to light aircraft to Chiawa Lodge in the Lower Zambezi National Park in time for Lunch by the Zambezi ( 2nights). Fly to Livingstone by light aircraft and stay at Tongabezi lodge ( 2 nights ). Fly to Ndola to visit the town, comprehensive town tour – visit place of work, schools, local church, social & sports clubs, markets, shops etc, sometimes it’s possible to visit the new accomodation or home ( 3 nights ) Fly from Ndola to Lusaka (2 nights ) for Tour of Lusaka and connecting flight home. The evenings would include informal talks about Zambian Life.
We also cater for journalists, film crews, academic, religious or indeed any group with an interest in Africa.
All orientation safaris are quoted for individually.
